As you may or may not know, from 6th of April dog owners will be required by law to have all dogs micro chipped. This usually costs around £25 from the vets.
However, local keeper Lee McManamon has organised an event in the Aulreee Village Hall with the Dog's Trust where they will be carrying out micro chipping on the 1st March from 1pm - 5pm free of charge but with a suggested donation of £2 per dog.
Tayside and Central Scotland Moorland Group will be hosting this event, with a tombola, teas, coffees and some home baking on offer to raise a much money for the Dog's Trust and hopefully for the Amulree Village Hall itself.
Any questions should be directed to the Tayside and Central Scotland Moorland Group via their Facebook page and they will get back to you.
